Gray Line Toronto, part of Gray Line Worldwide, was a sightseeing tour operator in Toronto, ON.

The Gray Line franchise in Toronto is currently held by VIP Ontario Tours, which operates city tours with charter coaches.

History

Gray Coach Lines had operated sightseeing service in Toronto affiliated with Gray Line as early as the 1930s. Greyhound Canada acquired the franchise in 1992 through their purchase of Gray Coach Lines. The Bus and Boat Company purchased rights to the Gray Line brand in late 2011, and shortly after acquisition, the Gray Line branding was added to their existing City Sightseeing Toronto sightseeing service.

Prior to The Bus and Boat Company acquisition, Gray Line Toronto offered Hop-On Hop-Off city tours with two routes. The North/South Loop operated year-round and passed by attractions like the CN Tower, Eaton Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, and Harbourfront. The East/West Loop operated from June to September and passed by attractions like The Distillery District, The Danforth, as well as multiple ethnic enclaves.

Gray Line Toronto came under new management in September 2023, lead by Crystal Sheriff who owns VIP Ontario Tours. Rather than open top double decker buses, charter coaches are now used.
