FlixBus is a brand owned by Flix SE offering intercity bus service. Launched in Germany in 2013, FlixBus now serves 38 countries in Europe, North America and South America.[1]

Unlike traditional coach brands, FlixBus does not operate their own vehicles. They provide a technology platform allowing local coach operators to partner with them and over bus services under the FlixBus brand. The local operators run and maintain the coach, while FlixBus provides the branding, network planning, route licensing, pricing, marketing, sales, traffic control and customer service.[1]
