exo Sud-Ouest provides public transportation to the municipalities of Beauharnois, Châteauguay, Léry and Kahnawake. Service is operated under contract by Transdev Québec.

History

exo Sud-Ouest was created on June 1st, 2017 under new legislation reorganizing public transit in the greater Montréal area, which replaced AMT with RTM. It took over services previously operated by Conseil intermunicipal de transport du Sud-Ouest.

When first launched, it was branded as RTM - Secteur Sud-Ouest, and was given its current name on May 23rd, 2018 after RTM adopted the exo branding.

On January 24, 2021 exo ceased serving the city of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield after the city took over ownership of all public transit on their territory. Routes 1 and 28 were cut to the edge of the town of Beauharnois with connections to STSV service at various points in Beauharnois.
