The first three prototypes were delivered in late 1995 to early 1996. Following trials and modifications to the design, the remaining buses were delivered between 1998 and 1999. This second batch of buses was designated 14TrE2 and is distinguishable by a wider body, smaller rear window, two-piece windshield, and front wheelchair lift.
