The East Lancashire Coachbuilders Kinetec+ is a low floor, double deck bus body built on the MAN A48 (ND283F) chassis. The Kinetec+ made its debut at the 2006 Euro Bus Expo and was the first MAN double decker for the United Kingdom. The body is a variant of the East Lancs Olympus using the front fascia of MAN's Lion's City range instead.[1][2]

In 2007, East Lancs went into administration and was subsequently purchased by the Darwen Group. Production would have continued under the new company, but when the company became part of Optare in 2008, the Kinetec+ was dropped.
