The 412 runs east from the Oshawa Centre Terminal, to the Courtice Community Complex. The route utilizes main streets such as Stevenson Road, Adelaide Avenue and Nash Road.. The 412 connects passengers from Courtice Complex, to the Oshawa Centre Terminal. The route interlines with 402 King at the Oshawa Centre Terminal and at the Courtice Community Complex.
The 412 Adelaide originally interlined with 408 Stevenson and 411 Grandview until July 1st, 2013, when the Oshawa system underwent routing changes. The route originally carried a #12 until a #4 was added to all Oshawa Routes in 2008.
