The route 112 Brock Road is a mainly north/south route that provides service to northeast Pickering, serving the neighbourhoods of Dellbrook, Major Oaks, Tillings and William Jackson. This route also serves the commercial shopping centre located between Kingston Road and Pickering Parkway along Brock Road. This route also services William Jackson, a neighbourhood that is an ongoing sub-division project in norther Pickering that will house nearly 7,500 families by the time it is finished construction in 2021. This routes primary terminus is the Pickering GO Station.
Until March 2014, a special branch of the 122 (112CS Pine Ridge S.S./Brock Road) served Pine Ridge Secondary School students.
Regional Council and DRT’s Transit Executive Committee approved the route changes and other service enhancements in January 2015. The 112 was extended to William Jackson Drive on May 4th of that year when the previous route 117 Valley Farm was removed from service.
