History
The Oshawa Centre Bus Terminal was built in June of 1992. When it was opened it was service by routes operated by the Oshawa Transit Commission and GO Transit. When the bus terminal opened all Oshawa Transit Commission routes were rerouted to the new terminal as previously they served Downtown Oshawa. GO Transit pulled it service out in favour of the Oshawa GO Station in 2004. On January 1st, 2006 all Oshawa Transit Commission buses were amalgamated with the new Durham Region Transit brand.
In 2014 the mall began to undertake major renovations that closed portions of the bus terminal which required the centre portion of the terminal to be closed, limiting the the number of platforms from 12 to 8. A temporary setup is currently there, however, it is unknown when the construction will finish.
