Shoemaker Terminal is one of DDOT's two currently-operating bus facilities. It is located on Shoemaker (from which the facility's name is derived) between St. Jean and Lillibridge streets in the eastern section of Detroit. It was built in 1922 and underwent a major reconstruction project that required complete closure between 2004 and 2012, as a result, the Shoemaker Terminal currently has a total capacity of 336 buses (240 indoor, 96 outdoor).
