Detroit Department of Transportation 2521-2534

Detroit Department of Transportation 2521-2534 were General Motors Corporation New Look buses built between 1964 and 1969 formerly operated by Southeastern Michigan Transportation Authority. In late 1985, SEMTA sent these buses, which were nearing retirement, to DDOT to provide additional buses during a bus shortage resulting from federal fines imposed on SEMTA due to cost overruns on the People Mover project. When they were received by DDOT, they were painted completely white, had their rollsigns removed and had a DDOT logo placed on the sides.

All were retired in late 1986 following the arrival of 1900-1999.
