Detroit Department of Transportation 1900-1924

Detroit Department of Transportation 1900-1924 are New Flyer Industries XD40 buses built and delivered in 2019.

The first buses in this series were delivered on June 3, 2019. They partially replaced the 2005 New Flyer Industries D40LF order. Along with 1960-1964, these buses debuted a minimalist, mint green-and-white livery, and introduced plastic seating, which had been tested on 1529.

They are the second DDOT buses to feature those exact fleet numbers, which were previously used by 1986-1987 GMDD TC40-102N Classic buses.
