The Conseil intermunicipal de transport des Laurentides was a public transit board providing bus service to the municipalities of Blainville, Bois-des-Filion, Boisbriand, Deux-Montagnes, Lorraine, Mirabel, Pointe-Calumet, Rosemère, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Saint-Eustache, Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Sainte-Thérèse, Saint-Jérôme, and Saint-Joseph-du-Lac. The service had been operated by Autobus Transcobec, Transdev Limocar, Autobus Paquette and Autobus Deux-Montagnes. The board folded in 2017 when the new transit governance in the Montréal metropolitan area came into force.
History
CIT Laurentides was formed from the merger of four agencies: CIT de Basses Laurentides, CIT de Deux-Montagnes, OMIT de St-Eustache, and OMIT de St-Jérôme. Service as SURF began September 8, 2004. In 2013, the name SURF was dropped from all branding in favour of the term CIT Laurentides.
New legislation reorganizing public transit in the greater Montréal area came into effect on June 1, 2017, which replaced AMT with RTM. As part of the reorganization, CIT Laurentides was replaced by exo Laurentides.
