Connecticut Transit 2101-2112 is wheelchair accessible.

CTtransit 2101-2112 are 2021 New Flyer XE40 Xcelsior CHARGE buses.

These vehicles are CTtransit's first zero-emissions electric buses. The first bus to be delivered, 2101, arrived in September 2021 and was unveiled to the public in October 2021[1]. They entered service in January 2022 in New Haven.

After 2102 caught fire on July 23, 2022, all buses were pulled from service as a precaution.[2] The fire also led to a battery-fire recall of all New Flyer electric buses, and subsequently led to delays for electric bus deliveries to other agencies.[3]

On July 14, 2023, Connecticut Transit announced they will return their electric buses to service in the coming weeks.[4]
