Collins Bus Corporation is a South Hutchinson, Kansas company that specializes in manufacturing and sales of smaller school and paratransit buses.
History
The company was founded in 1971.
Acquisitions
Collins purchased manufacturer Mid Bus in 1998 and the assets of Corbeil Bus Corporation in 2007. The companies were part of the REV Group ownership.
On January 29, 2024, REV Group announced the sale of its bus manufacturing concerns (including ElDorado National), with Collins and Mid Bus now under the ownership of Forest River Bus, corporate owner of Starcraft Bus.
