274 Royal Hudson/Vancouver/Lonsdale Quay, also known as the BC Rail Royal Hudson Charter, was a bus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Route Details
This was a seasonal charter route running between Downtown Vancouver, Lonsdale Quay, and the BC Rail Station in North Vancouver. Service ran typically between mid-May and early September on weekends/holidays and on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays when the Royal Hudson train excursion trips ran. Regular transit fares applied and transfers were issued and accepted. The service was internally numbered 274 starting in the 1990s but was never displayed on buses. However, it sometimes appeared on timetables and bus stop signs as 274.
The route ran as a semi-express service between the BC Rail Station and the outer terminus stations of Lonsdale Quay or Stadium Station. From Stadium Station, the following stops were pick-up only:
- Stadium Station
- Georgia & Granville
- Georgia & Burrard
- Georgia & Denman
- Marine & Capilano
- Pemberton & Marine
- Lonsdale Quay
Returning from the BC Rail Station to either Lonsdale Quay or Stadium Station, drop-off service was available at all bus stops along the route.
