229 Lonsdale Quay/Lynn Valley is a bus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Route Details
This east-west route runs in North Vancouver with service between Lonsdale and Lynn Valley Centre. Outside of peak times, service is half hourly. Service combines with the route 230 to provide frequent transit network service along Lonsdale Avenue from the SeaBus terminal to 29th Street.
The route departs Lonsdale Quay by Carrie Cates Court to Lonsdale Avenue heading northbound to take 29th Street east. It then takes a right onto Lynn Valley Road, left onto 27th Street, left onto Mountain Highway, and again onto Lynn Valley Road before terminating at Lynn Valley Centre.

History
- October 1973 - 93 Westlynn service is introduced. The route replaces the old 93 Mountain Highway (which became the 910 Mountain Highway FastBUS and eventually the 210 Upper Lynn Valley/Vancouver). It went from Phibbs Exchange to Kilmarnock at Hoskins via Mountain Highway and Arborlynn Drive.[1]
- February 1974 - Route extended to serve Seymour Boulevard (up to Grantham Place). Additionally, the route now passes Arborlynn enroute to Hoskins and Ross; previously, the route used 20th Street and Mountain Highway.[2]
- October 1991 - Accessible service introduced on select trips[3]
- October 2001 - Hourly Sunday and holiday service introduced[4]
- December 2007 - Introduction of low-floor service with Nova Bus LFS
buses[5]
- Winter 2008 - Operations relocated from Burnaby Transit Centre to North Vancouver Transit Centre[6][7]
- December 2013 - Route split, with Lynn Valley Centre to Phibbs Exchange portion becoming the 227 Lynn Valley/Phibbs Exchange.[8]
- September 2016 - North Vancouver Transit Centre closed down, operations moved to Burnaby Transit Centre
