City of Santa Clarita Transit is the transit system serving the City of Santa Clarita, California and nearby surrounding unincorporated areas. The system is operated and maintained by MV Transportation.[1]

History

The City of Santa Clarita assumed responsibility for local transit in 1991 from Los Angeles County.

In mid-2007 Santa Clarita Transit underwent a re-branding. It became known as "City of Santa Clarita Transit" and buses received a new green and blue livery reflecting the colors of the city logo. The majority of the fleet has received this livery. Bus stop signs in a design similar to the new bus livery were also installed.[2]
