Route Description

Route 7 operated between Cottonwood/Chilliwack Malls and Sardis.

History

  • 1996: Service introduced as 7 Sardis via Higginson between Downtown and Sardis via Cottonwood and Chilliwack Malls
    • Mon-Fri: Every hour from ~7:00 to 18:00
    • Sat: Every hour from ~9:00 to 18:00
  • Winter 1997: Additional service introduced [1]
    • Thu-Sat: Evening service extended from ~18:00 to 22:00
    • Sun: Every hour from ~10:00 to 18:00
    • Added service operated as a "combined" routing with route 6 Sardis via Wiltshire, travelling southbound as route 6 and then northbound as route 7
  • September 2022: School special routing introduced
  • Summer 2006/7: Commuter service along Yale introduced [2]
  • Fall 2009: Daytime service between Downtown and the Malls discontinued. Evening/Sunday route 6/7 combo continued to operate to Downtown. School special and commuter service also discontinued
  • Winter 2010: Evening and Sunday service discontinued and replaced by route 12 Vedder Crossing. Route no longer travels Downtown [3]
  • July 2, 2012: Service discontinued and replaced by route 4 Promontory as part of 2012 network restructuring [4]
