Route 7 is a mainline bus that provides service between southern and southwestern Barrie, Georgian College, and downtown.

This route has 2 branches:
- 7A Grove - Northbound service which runs via Park Place, Mapleview, Bryne, Commerce Park, Veterans, Essa, Holly Recreation Centre, Ardagh, Patterson, Tiffin, Allandale Waterfront GO Station, Bradford, Downtown, Bayfield, Grove, and Georgian College.
- 7B Bear Creek - Southbound service which follows the reverse routing of 7A.
History
- August 17, 2013 - As part of a reorganization of Barrie Transit routes, route 7A/7B are introduced.
- August 25, 2019 - Route extended into Georgian College to reduce travel time for students. Buses loop around the campus area via Grove Street East, Cook Street, Ring Road, and Duckworth Street. The looping via St. Vincent Street and Bell Farm Road is removed.
