BC Transit 5545-5549 were GMDD T6H-5306 "New Look" buses built in 1971 for BC Hydro Transit as 3801-3805.


BC Hydro Transit fleet ownership to Urban Transit Authority (UTA) and operations assumed by Metro Transit Operating Company (MTOC) in April 1980. UTA renamed BC Transit in 1982; MTOC operations in Vancouver and Victoria moved into BC Transit in April 1985. These units were loaned to Pacific Stage Lines during peak summer seasons in the early 1970s.
