The Autoridad Metropolitana de Autobuses (AMA) provides public transportation to the municipalities of San Juan, Trujillo Alto, Toa Baja, Guaynabo, Catano, Bayamon, Carolina, and Loiza in the San Juan metropolitan areas of Puerto Rico. It is an agency of the Department of Transportation and Public Works of Puerto Rico. In English, it is known as Puerto Rico Metropolitan Bus Authority.
Four Metrobus routes (ME, Metrobus-I and Metrobus-III, and Metro Urbano BRT) are operated by First Transit on behalf of AMA. Before 2003, this contract was operated by Coach USA.
