The Airbus A380-800 is a widebody double-deck long-haul airliner developed by Airbus in the mid 2000s. It is a variant of the Airbus A380 series, the only variant currently in development. It is the first full double-deck airliner produced and the highest capacity aircraft currently in service.

On February 14, 2018, Airbus announced that production of the A380 would cease in 2021.[3]
