The Airbus A340-600 is a widebody long-haul airliner developed by Airbus in the early 2000s. It is a variant of the Airbus A340 series, the longest in the series with the greatest passenger capacity, developed alongside the Airbus A340-500. It is the second highest capacity Airbus aircraft next to the Airbus A380.
This variant is no longer in development.
