The Airbus A318 is a narrow body short/medium-haul airliner developed by Airbus in mid 2000's, based off of the best-selling A320, but shorter. It is the shortest aircraft offered by Airbus, filling in the low-density market.

The A318 consists of the A318-100 variant, along with the A318 Elite variant for extended range and a business jet format.

The A318 is currently the largest aircraft in operation that is certified to land at steep grades.

There are currently no plans to convert the A318 into the neo format.
