December 17-December 23 OC Transpo recently became the first operator in North America to place the low height, "Go-Anywhere" Alexander Dennis Enviro500 in service.
December 10-December 16 A brand new Roam Nova Bus LFS operating in Banff, Alberta. Roam has recently expanded service to Canmore.
December 3-December 9 John Sutherland kindly contributed this photo of a 1958 General Motors TDM-4515 operating for Canada Coach Lines. This winter scene was captured in 1973 in Galt, Ontario.
November 5-November 11 The Marcopolo Torino is ubiquitous in Mexico and other parts of Latin America. This example is operating for the municipality of Leon in Mexico's state of Guanajuato.
October 15-October 28 A 1955 MLW FPA-2u belonging to the Canadian National Railway captured at Elmira on March 25th, 1972 with a special Maple Syrup Express from Toronto run by the Ontario Rail association.
October 1-October 14 The end of September marked the end of The Northlander train service. The last Northlander train arrived at Toronto Union Station the evening of September 28. The Government of Ontario has chosen to wind down the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission, much to the dismay of employees and the passengers who rely on their services.
September 17-September 30 Earlier this month, the Société de transport de Montréal handed the Iveco Irisbus Citelis 18 articulated hybrid demo bus to the Réseau de transport de Longueuil. Both systems are running this bus in service to evaluate the BAE Systems series hybrid drive.

The WEGO Visitor Transportation System officially started August 13 with a fleet of rigid and articulated Nova Bus LFX buses. WEGO is jointly operated by the Niagara Parks Commission and Niagara Falls Transit.
August 13-August 26 Brampton Transit Leyland Olympian 8500, in its Brampton Safe City Wrap, laying over at the Bramalea Transit Centre on a charter. This bus was sold to Double Deck Tours of Niagara Falls earlier in the year.

July 30-August 5 One of Washington, DC's newest, a 30 foot hybrid Orion VII with BRT styling.
July 16-July 29 A Deutsche Bahn Class 101 electric locomotive, built by ADtranz, is coupled to a train
July 9-July 15 Nova Bus was awarded a contract to supply 509 hybrid transit buses to the nine Association du transport urbain du Québec transit agencies. The $471.3 million contract will see buses delivered each year from 2014 to 2016.
July 2-July 8 At the end on June, VIA Rail Canada announced a re-organization of it's service. These include a reduction in service on The Canadian, The Ocean, some poor-performing Southwestern Ontario routes. There will be some service improvements in The Corridor. VIA expects to lose approximately 200 full-time positions.
June 25-July 1 This OC Transpo New Flyer D60LF, now running for St. Catharines Transit, was captured on detour on the Queen Elizabeth Driveway. Commercial vehicles are not permitted on this parkway, except in special cases.
June 11-June 24 On May 26, the Canadian Transit Heritage Foundation chartered a Halifax Metro Transit MCI Classic Artic. Halifax is the only current operator, and one of only two all-time operators, of articulated Classics.
June 4-June 10 At the beginning of June New Flyer presented their prototype battery-electric bus. It is based on the Xcelsior platform and will be undergoing road testing.
May 28-June 3 E Noa Corporation of Honolulu, Hawaii has recently taken delivery of four Alexander Dennis Enviro400 open top double deck buses. These are amongst the first exported to North America and are the shorter cousin of the longer Enviro500. Note that the tropical climate of Hawaii results in no windows being required on the lower level. RSW 199 is seen operating eastbound on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki in April 2012.
May 21-May 27 Premtime BR-RP-35 is a Blue Bird-bodied International 3800 used as a mobile radio studio. It was photographed outside The Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague, Netherlands.
May 14-may 20 One of the first New Flyer Xcelsior buses for the London Transit Commission. London has recently taken delivery of two more Xcelsior hybrids.
May 7-May 13 Greater Toronto Airport Authority 2009 Nova Bus LFS #85-0927 is seen on the LINK shuttle at Terminal 1's Ground Transportation Level. Shuttle buses were used on March 3, 2012 in addition to single train operation due to emergency repairs needed on the second train.
April 30-May 6 Emirates Airbus A380-861 A6-EDB (cn 013) is seen on Final Approach to Toronto Pearson's Runway 23 on July 1st, 2011.
April 23-April 29 Greyhound Lines announced this month the purchase of an additional 60 Prevost X3-45 coaches. Delivery is to begin in June and be completed by October. Greyhound also announced this week an expansion of their non-stop express service in the western United States.
April 16-April 22 Late last week, New Flyer Industries presented their Xcelsior model to the Quebec media. New Flyer, in partnership with Girardin Minibus, is pursuing the latest ATUQ contract for the nine major transit authorities in Quebec. All previous contracts have been awarded to Nova Bus.

April 2-April 8 Coast Mountain Bus Company has started to refurbish their 2001 Orion Bus Industries 05.501 Suburban buses. Bus 9269 is one of the first to be completed. The most obvious change is the silver paint in lieu of white.
March 26-April 1 The Province of Ontario announced this month that they will be winding down Ontario Northland. This will mean an end to their Northlander train service
March 19-March 25 One of the few wheelchair accessible buses making their debut in Macau. This bus is operated by Reolian Public Transport and is a Yutong ZK6118HGE.
March 12-March 18 The Société de transport de Laval has recently placed their pre-1994 Classics into storage along with the 1995 models. Being a 1991 MCI, 6105 is the oldest of the series.
March 5-March 11 With almost 15 sets in service, the TTC's Toronto Rocket subway car is becoming more and more common on the Yonge-University-Spadina line.
February 27-March 4 One of the first Classics purchased by Montreal in 1983. The high floor bus era is nearing an end in the city.
February 20-February 26 One of the early model Gillig Phantoms recently retired by LADOT as the new CNG-powered MCI D4000CT coaches enter service.

January 9-January 15 TTC 2286 and 2290, GMC new look buses built in 1983, are seen on the Westway, west of Martin Grove on Friday, December 16, 2011. Five GMC newlooks were in service on this day (2281, 2444 and 2855 were the others), which turned out to be the final day of new look operation in Toronto after over 52 years of operation.
