eclair14
Time to bump up this threat as some service improvement will be taken place starting Monday June 27, those improvement are the first phase of a major network restructuration that will take place next year The main line, the 20 will be replaced with the "Lévisien 2" (L-2), a sort of cheap metrobus with headway for the summer schedule of 15 minutes during daytime and 30 minutes weeknights/week-end. They are no extra depatures and no extra hours of service yet on this line (The last bus still leaves Lévis to Quebec at 10:10pm weeknights !) Route 90 will also be abolished and will be replace by the Lévisien 1 (L-1), a cheaper metrobus than the first case serving it's customer every 40 minutes, however, for the people along this route, this is a major improvement from their current service (Autocars des Chutes) as this route serve Saint-Nicolas, Saint-Rédempteur and Saint-Étienne along the route 116 axis, the eastern terminal of this route is at the Quebec City - Levis Ferry. They are other minor modifications, one to take note is the fact that Galeries Chagnon terminus is gonna be closed and buses are gonna wait on the street (stupid decision I.M.O) -- In sad news, STLevis has announced for the June 22 board the sale of all remaining GM Classic

busfan0947
As you might know, ST Lévis rented from Novabus and for a short period of time (3-4 months) 10 ex-STM LFS buses. Those buses went gradually into revenue service starting from august 25th. ST Lévis removed all STM blue stripes and put only ST Lévis logos on them but the original STM fleet numbers will remain on the buses, except for one bus: -17-031 Ex Paquette 652, ex BC Transit #fleet nbr unknown (for 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games) -17-135 -18-058 -16-002 Ex Paquette 651, ex BC Transit 7117 (original STM fleet number 16-002 removed outside, ST Lévis kept instead BC Transit 7117 fleet number on the bus!!!) -16-023 -18-044 -16-088 -17-127 -16-056 -17-

A lot of problems eh? Paquette rented those buses for a few months only, I don't know why. There was no intention to buy those buses from the start, no matter how they performed. The same as BC Transit and ST Lévis did.
general682002
Levis should have got some OC LFS that's retired not long ago. Unfortunately the OC will be most likely scrapped!

busfan0947
Haha... Some of them have the STM transit system of the year award stickers on them still. ST Levis has recently received it's biggest order ever with 20 more new buses. So, with 1101-1103 received in july, you may also add 1104-1123. They should be in service next week. Also, the ex STM buses should be in service for a 3 months period only. Only 3 Classics will be retired this fall but fleet numbers are not known yet. I saw a couple of pictures of the new buses (see link above) and at least some appear to sport the usual livery.

Some buses are wrapped in Lévis 2011 (375th anniversary) livery and offer free WiFi internet, but I doubt this is permanent, if you are reffering to that. The 2009-2011 livery trades the straight marine and turquoise ribbons for more twisty ones.
Andru
No, sorry for the confusion. I was referring to the jazzed-up livery hinted at by the STL in a press release in May this year (available here: http://www.stlevis.ca/pdf/presentation_nou...eau_STLevis.pdf) Now this is way better than those horrible twisted noodles. webfil
Oh, these are great! I missed that document. I'll plan to be around QC in early november and will try to clinch those, if ever existing. Now that is jazzy indeed.

I've personnally asked this question to some people of the ST Levis and they all doubt that this so called "original but too expensive livery for a small transit agency" will be applied to buses in a short term period. As of now, all 23 2011 buses do have the regular two-tone noodle scheme. Let's wait until they have a few artic buses (if they ever get some...) and see what they will decide then... En 2012, elle compte en acquérir 16 de plus, dont 14 seront articulés. http://journallepeuple.canoe.ca/webapp/sit...8263&id=
