Because the installation requires taking out the current CIS trump unit, the buses cannot enter service as there is no way to communicate with Transit Control or supervisors in case of an emergency. Btw, they seem to have taken mostly buses ending in a 6 - 1006, 1206, 7706, 8026, 8406 are units in the program that I'm aware of off the top of my head, and based on how long it's been out of service I would guess 8336 is also one. All six units have been out of service since at least November 2016. On the topic of prototype units, 7592 was being used for some other purpose - it's been out of service since 2015 but is not listed as retired. The 12xx buses behind at Mt Dennis the wall are vision test buses. They are not trackable because all of the cis equipment has been removed. They not retired. The bus involved was most likely 8747. It was tracking on 190 and it was last seen an hour ago at Brimley/Progress. At least the damage isn't that serious, like 8573..
Xtrazsteve
That's no biggie. Buses like 8436, 8556 and 9012 all had collision history and are still very alive.

You can barely see 8747 printed on the back, just beside the exhaust pipe on the top left. You probably missed it because the resolution of the photo isn't good enough and the number isn't centrally placed like on the old livery buses, which along with its smaller font size, irks me out. Catharine
wow somebody probably used a small font size like this for the bus. No wonder you could not find out the number it has. But seriously thats odd. Also I hope that its still alive now
leylandvictory2
First of all the bus is less than a year old second of all the damage os relatively minor.
