And from what I've been told they have about 8 buses that are trolley replicas. I will be visiting Friday and will report back with what I find out. Does it have a strange looking destination sign cut out? Kind of like an Oval.
OC Transpo 8238
It has the regular alloted space for a destination sign. It is just covered by a sign that reads "GO GREEN"

OC Transpo 8238
That would be it! Now it has a green front for OK Tire, and there is a yellow and green stripe down the side.

But I did manage to capture a few shots of the trolley replicas: http://www.flickr.com/photos/flyer_901/2270544330 http://www.flickr.com/photos/flyer_901/2269752335 http://www.flickr.com/photos/flyer_901/2270544392 Looks as if these "trolleys" crashed through Grandma's teahouse... I have to admit, they are very colourful. Cheers, Rob
JeremyA
I just passed through Charlottetown a few days ago, but only managed to get a couple of photos, albeit not very good ones. Are all the buses made up to look like trollies and boats, or is this a special bus?
OC Transpo 8238
Most are trolley replicas, then there are a few Classics. And the boat that drives on land is a tour boat.

OC Transpo 8238
Where was that GM Classic originally from? That GM originally came from Groupe Gaudreault as #29008. 5862 is originally Groupe Gaudreault #28603, here are some pics:
jc.theriault
Whoa, did I see ex-Codiac 303 in one of those pics? Trius/Atlantic Gateway Coachlines had at least one Codiac Classic sitting in their Moncton yard last year. Maybe it was 303 and they managed to drive it to PEI. Both 302 and 303 are there, 302 is definetly retired while 303 could see revenue service again. I will talk to my contact at Trius and get a straight answer. kevlo86
While I was visiting Charlottetown this past Tuesday (March 29) Spotted a total of 5 Classics running. #5901- As per listed in the CPTDB Wiki-reminded me of Calgary, as it too is an Ex-Conneticut unit. She is currently painted up all green with a black skirt. #5903- with a former number of 303, has pink front end and wavy stripes that are colors of Codiac Transit. Has some big black numbers on its roof too. This is listed as #5891 on the Wiki though. I am pretty sure it is the same bus, ex-Codiac 303. I had the pleasure of riding this beast, cause it sure sounded like one! I did a video, so I will upload that soon to Youtube. #5911- Not listed on the wiki is an ex-Laval (STL) Classic, STL #6101 The bus is still in it's STL livery. #5861- As per listed on the wiki as well. #5892- As per listed on the wiki is an ex-Laval (STL) unit as well, STL #5920, rode on this bus, still seemed to be running quite well. So of the 7 Classics listed on the wiki, I spotted 4 of them, and found a new addition. Did not spot the Orion I that is on the wiki.
