AHS Medical / Resue Support unit #12598 spotted at the Mayfair Place after a new Transformer blew up this morning at the building when it was turned on. Many other emergency vehicles were there as well and they will be posted in their own thread.

Probably mentioned already, but I saw a Ford Escape PRU this morning just with the green/blue "EMS" text, no red/blue scheme anymore.

EMS Tahoe 11143 was out in the University area yesterday too.

Here's a photo of H2250:

Didn't realize they had the crest on the roof on some of them.

It appears that AHS has received a new batch of EMS units. Was near the Calgary N.E. facility yesterday afternoon and spotted a whole bunch of new units. They all look the same as the 2700's that we received over the last couple of years. The highest 2700 series I knew of until a few days ago was #2794 until the other day when I spotted 2841 on the road. Yesterdays find revealed #2796 and several 2800's numbered as high as #2849. I do not have photos as I did not realize that I did not have my CF card in my camara until later on in the day. dry.png

Those units have been sitting there for some time now - I first saw them about a month ago and saw them again when I drove by last week. They`re looking good!

Most are now in service. But check out this one that I found earlier today. #2854. Was a bit surprised to find it was not like the other new AHS units:

Recently, I have been seeing more new AHS units numbered higher than #2854. Have spotted #2880 and a 287x series.

Here are a couple of photos from last month of a couple of the older units.. #'s 2747 and 2750 captured at the same intersection within a few seconds of each other, but with emergency lights and sirens flashing:

That'd be a Eldarado not a Nova.

It's the replacement for this.

Yeah, this ex-Edmonton Health 1983 Orion I 01.504 which is powered by the Detroit Diesel 6V71N engine and Allison MT644 transmission.

AHS units have gone right through the 2800's and 2900's and now more recently half way through the 3000's. Here are some brand new units at the AHS N.E. facility in Calgary:
