Board Admin A. Wong Posted March 9, 2010 Board Admin Report Posted March 9, 2010 That old Dodge is awesome.
mackem87 Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 saw 4 new looking gmc medics sitting in the yard of the Calgary tri service facility on 36st.in brand new ahs livery.green and blue 'waves' starting mid top patient compartment, swooping down and wrapping around the front.blue and yellow chevrons top half of the back.looks a little to bland if there the new frontline units, but not bad overall
M. Parsons Posted March 22, 2010 Author Report Posted March 22, 2010 Found this interesting looking (paint scheme anyways) AHS ambulance in Downtown Edmonton. Also, a Avalache in Calgary. As far as I can tell it is a Calgary unit.
Board Admin A. Wong Posted March 23, 2010 Board Admin Report Posted March 23, 2010 Also, a Avalache in Calgary. As far as I can tell it is a Calgary unit.Sure looks like it. Wonder if those are equivalent to our PRUs?
M. Parsons Posted March 24, 2010 Author Report Posted March 24, 2010 Sure looks like it. Wonder if those are equivalent to our PRUs? It was actually a supervisors vehicle. Another pic, and an Associated Ambulance.
T6H-5307N Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Found this interesting looking (paint scheme anyways) AHS ambulance in Downtown Edmonton. Heh, I believe I saw that same one today
M. Parsons Posted March 26, 2010 Author Report Posted March 26, 2010 Ex IHA at one of my favorite stores. Also, noticed a few AHS amublances at an ex car dealership. New AHS garage?
TheAverageJoe Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 nice shots Ex IHA at one of my favorite stores. Also, noticed a few AHS amublances at an ex car dealership. New AHS garage? The dealership could still be open for service and doing a AHS contract?
Board Admin A. Wong Posted March 28, 2010 Board Admin Report Posted March 28, 2010 That older 90s EMS Tahoe is still around.
Board Admin A. Wong Posted April 10, 2010 Board Admin Report Posted April 10, 2010 Mentioned in the Peace Officer thread... Saw an AHS Peace Officer 2010 Ford Taurus SEL. The fleet number on the rear quarter panel I think was PSM-01 or something like that. But I also saw a white 1994-2002 Dodge Ram regular cab with a AHS logo on it this morning.
T6H-5307N Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 OK Folks, here it is, AHS 2711, A Chevy Chassis with Demers Bodywork & gasoline powered Sweeeeet, gasoline FTW
lfdlt17 Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 OK Folks, here it is, AHS 2711, A Chevy Chassis with Demers Bodywork & gasoline poweredVery interesting, as I had heard no more Demers due to their sharp box body edges behind the cab doors Gross decal scheme IMO....and I am not a fan of the GM gas idea either. But that's just me.
TheAverageJoe Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 I like the new paint scheme looks very sharp.
BCT-3122-D800-10240 Posted May 18, 2010 Report Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) Caught a few images of AHS 2706 in Calgary at the Rockyview Hospital yesterday afternoon also in the new livery. I kinda like the new livery. Looks decent. Will add some images shortly. Edit: images added: Edited May 19, 2010 by MBTA9244-9640b
mackem87 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 gotta say,far to white.there's something to be said for simplicity but its just ugly.why have most of the livery and chevrons around the top? Extend the chevrons to cover the entire back of the vehicle and shift the blue and green down a bit so there isn't that huge white space.
cooker Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 OK Folks, here it is, AHS 2711, A Chevy Chassis with Demers Bodywork & gasoline poweredVery interesting, as I had heard no more Demers due to their sharp box body edges behind the cab doors I may be wrong but it kind of reminds me of York Region EMS here in Ontario
T6H-5307N Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 Anyone have any idea why they went with gasoline?
Board Admin A. Wong Posted May 31, 2010 Board Admin Report Posted May 31, 2010 That old Jeep Cherokee is still around, now sporting AHS decals!
Board Admin A. Wong Posted June 8, 2010 Board Admin Report Posted June 8, 2010 Nice Explorer. Looks pretty new (ie. not a redecalled unit) judging from the license plate and different lightbar. I don't think I mentioned it but recently I saw the Mobile ICU (International chassis) - it now has the AHS logo on the door but still in the red/blue EMS scheme.
awstott Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 K2503 is a Ford Escape Hybrid... No pics tho... too many people milling around.
