Marie since 1990 and I know fleet# 121 is orion V, I always remember when Sault Ste. Marie Transit did bought new 11 bus with new 2nd paint livery because 1st livery was red & blue, 2nd livery was green & blue and 3rd livery new 2019 mostly white with few blue, green, orange and red so I do remember when I saw 1997 to 1999, fleet# 110 to 121 was orion V, 121 can't be paratransit! who said it? I can't believe that someone make wrong information on this cptdb wiki, I know 121 (original) was 1999 orion V then something happened accident or motor break down, they can't afford to fix it and they have to rid it to change (2nd) small bus just like paratransit but 121 (original) or (2nd) never service for paratransit, they was service for normal schedule route, I try to say 121 (2nd) just like 154 & 155 small buses so 154 & 155 don't service for paratransit so I ask to anyone to fix it please? I know fleet# 39 to 109 was 1st livery then 110 to 140 and 156 to 160 was 2nd livery then 165-166 was 3rd livery so 141 to 153 and 161-164 was not livery because they can't afford a paint cost! oh well, life going on anyway fleet# 121 is NOT paratransit and it's 1998 Orion V (original) or minibus (2nd or I called 121B) but I noticed fleet# 113 is missing? SSMTS Posted September 3, 2019 Report Share Posted September 3, 2019 I did updated on wikipedia and I did put 28 buses and 2 minibuses on wikipedia but real life, there like 32 buses and 2 minibuses in garage property, there is only 26 buses or 25 buses and 2 minibuses on service, 2 buses or 3 buses (if 163 don't run service) in garage and can't service (like suspended) and 4 buses (retired for scrapped) in dump field because I was there and counted it. Thank you 157 did service from 2018 till around february 2019 something went wrong like breakdown, someone said "retired" so I asking Sault Ste. Marie Transit office if this 157 bus gonna to retired? they said no and they was trying to get something to fix it but ... they been abandoned 157 in garage for more than 7 months because motor is very damaged and they knew it that they got 157 from thunder bay and they did repainted to SSMT color and now motor is break down, I asking them again like last week ago ... one question is .. 157 really retired ... they was like not agreed with it because they said 157 still garage breakdown, waste our money and we bought 4 buses from thunder bay and they was hoping that 4 buses can service up to more than 5 years but 157 is only service for more than 1 year is wasted money, wasted money from federal funds and where money back? nothing they did made a good point to me like more explain as clear because I am deaf with American Sign Language, I can't speak perfect english grammar but they did trying to explaining to me more clear ... I was like "I feel sorry for them" because in 1980's .. they was good business and have profit, nothing loss but 1990's ... they want paint second livery for ALL buses because they have all money from profit and they can get new buses 1997/1998 Orion 06.501 then they loss 113 and 121, 113 not service long, like few year and got big damaged, they want fix it but same cost to get new 122 and 123 and get used 124 to 130 but not just 122, 123 and 124-130 because they realized that 121 was in big trouble just like 113 so they have to throw 113 and 121 to go (both really new buses but waste cost) then they replace 121 (I called them 121B) like renumber ... new mini bus but 121B do not service for paratransit because I do remember ... 121A ... I always ride many times on Eastside or McNabb, every time I see "113" or "121" in my good memory as strong but I remember 113 and 121 gone so quick then I saw another 121 but small bus? mini bus? but 121 go service for community. I know 121 NEVER service for Paratransit because I asked Sault Ste. Marie Transit office 3 times same question and they said NO! 121A or 121B does not service for Paratransit Now you wondering why ... they can't paint 141 to 153 and 161 to 164 ... because they are bankruptcy already ... I don't get it why they throw 146 on dirty land dump land with 144, 150 and 151 but why 157 still inside garage building? I just not get it why? but I know it's damaged and they can't fix it. now you wondering why they can't afford to repaint 141-153 or 161-164 so I asking them ... do they will repaint new 3rd livery for all buses and they was like laughing and "where funds? where money? who pay it?" then I was like wow and I knew it .... I hope you understand why SSM Transit have a BIG PROBLEM lately but I hopefully federal give another funds for SSM Transit because SSM Transit need a funds so badly! they need money for SSM Transit better future. yesterday I did counted it again because my friend let me in garage again and I did counted it and I was like "wow" because I did look every buses number ... on service is 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 147, 149, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162, 163, 165 and 166, suspended and hold on is 157 and 164 and dump land is 144, 146, 150 and 151. 119, 120, 145 and 152 already gone for good! scrapped it. plus ... we might not see any new buses or re-paint for 3rd livery for 131 to 164? ... maybe NEVER till 2021 or 2022, what I think ... they seem not happy with business issue. I know only is ... Monday to Friday ... 30 mins every service ... 17 buses on service and 13 buses inside garage included 157 and 164 but hour service would be only 9 buses on service and 21 buses inside garage included 157 and 164, I was try to say they have more time for repaint but they didn't because no money and they can't afford to fix 157, I called "breakdown" and I think 157 will go scrapped because every time I ask or talk about 157, they was like not happy to answer because it's wasted money, mean Thunder Bay Transit knew it that 157 bus was very bad motor or something very bad but they not tell and just SOLD to stupid dumb SSM Transit make SSM Transit look stupid? like I said I feel sorry for them but I can't do anything because I am not owner but City own it and City should know better, Transit should know better and I told them if ... they want get buses for 167 to future???? I suggest them to get NEW buses, not used buses like they did mistake with 157 as learned in lesson. Now why 164 not service? I heard they have something more problem.
