Don't know if any of those have been seen so far. Given that they don't have enough operators available currently to simply run PM rush hour, with up to 15% of 504, 505, and 506 buses simply not running - perhaps the real answer is they don't have the resources. Xtrazsteve
TTC says the 193 is discontinued for good. There will not be a 993 ever. They do run an express bus signed "Exhibition Express". In the past years, the 193 has a various loading pattern. Sometimes it's really pack while other times it's completely empty. I can see them saving a few bucks and consolidate everything to one location. The express map also has been updated with the 993 removed. http://www.ttc.ca/PDF/TTC_ExpressNetworkMap_2018-08-FINAL-v2.pdf

Andythagiant
Funny thing happened this evening as it seems all flexities operating on Spadina had to switch from panto to pole at the same time. Also finally got to see how the drivers switch from pole to pants and vice versa. Anyone might know what may have happened for the sudden switch? Always issues with the 193 blocking 40/168, but I doubt that's the real reason.

MK78
Has anyone experienced NextBus tracking is all out of whack this morning? Some routes have no buses at all, some have weird phantom buses that move along themselves but don't actually exist... Similar to what happened when they tried some sort of test a couple months ago. MK78
TTC now has an advisory on their Service Alerts page. It's also affecting the in-station displays for bus arrival, I'm sure the same goes for the bus stop arrival displays. Quote Nextbus has advised that they are experiencing issues with the tracking of vehicles and have crews working on the issue. blue.bird.fan
I read the TTC CEO's report on ttc.ca, and it states that the Nova LFS buses are having problems with coolant leaks. They've seemed to be pretty reliable, more so than the Orion buses. Anyone care to elaborate?
MK78
I haven't personally seen any Nova's break down with coolant on my usual routes that used to always have the Orions breaking down with coolant loss. What I have seen several times, on buses I've been on, is the rear door interlock screwing up not allowing the bus to move. Doors were closed, but the bus would not move. Dan I checked a little bit later than that, around 11 PM or so. The nextbus feed for the streetcar routes I have checked were full of "ghost" buses and some cars were "signed in" on various bus routes. Hopefully, the issue will be fixed sooner than it was last time.

MK78
TTC just updated the Alerts page with regard to the NextBus outage. It's crazy how much I rely on it nowadays, when it goes down I miss it significantly. Quote The Nextbus system is back in service. But my commute changed to the 506 about when NextBus started - and I honestly don't know how I'd manage without it - especially when 20--minute 506 gaps were so common before they finally fixed the schedule a couple of years ago ... It's still frustrating - but less frustrating when I can sit at home and wait comfortably ... or just take another route home. Of course, that 5:06 pm announcement was fake news - it was still all messed up well after 6 pm. They announced it was fixed again about 8:30 pm yesterday (Monday) ... after being down since Sunday evening.
WoodbineSecondExit
They've done another round of reprogramming on the Flexity signs. Examples. Also a short turning CLRV on St.Clair (presumably on its way to head back to the yard) had 503 Greenwood/Connaught displayed; the first time I've seen that used on St. Clair. Usually for CLRVs it's the 511 Queen exposure, and presumably they change it to 501 Greenwood/Connaught upon reaching Queen.
