sandlerstudio
Hi Everyone, I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if The Baldwin 8000 or a similar late-model steam locomotive (circa 1930s) crossed the Alberta high-level bridge (through Lethbridge)? Much appreciated, BM

Much appreciated, BM 8000? The CPR high-pressure Selkirk? I'm sure that many of the later Hudson's would have ran over the bridge, as they were the main mainline power until the diesels started arriving en masse in the 1950s. CN7066
Hi Everyone,I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if The Baldwin 8000 or a similar late-model steam locomotive (circa 1930s) crossed the Alberta high-level bridge (through Lethbridge)? Much appreciated, BM The Baldwin 8000 is a diesel-electric locomotive and spent most of its life on the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway on Vancouver Island and CP's Vancouver Terminal. If you're thinking of the high boiler pressure 2-10-4 built by CPR's Angus Shops, I have no idea if it ever ventured through Lethbridge.
