Will the switch leading into Obico yard be disconnected?

Will it allow GO to use both platforms and run more trains?

GO will not use both platforms until CP stop placing the auto racks on the north tracks

The "u" on CP's GP9u designation stands for upgraded.

The "RM" on CN's GP9RM designation stands for re-manufactured.

Maybe I should tell you when CN 543 goes down into Keating Yard and does a few places along there on the TTR next time :P

Hi, I'm relatively new to this forum and tracked this thread down while looking for more info on the schedule of trains that run through Keating Yard.

Do you guys still have info on that? I'd love to catch some shots of the train passing through Lakeshore and Leslie / Carlaw area.

Please let me know if you can help. Thanks a lot!!!

Question has anybody spotted CP SD40-2f's in the leading of the trains.

Aren't they all gone now? If not it would be nice to see one again but I haven't seen one for some time.

Still 7 on the roster as of the end of November, not that they are likely ever to see service again:

9003 Tied Up Serviceable Winnipeg

9007, 9008, 9009, 9015 Tied Up Unserviceable Winnipeg

9001, 9006 Tied Up Unserviceable Toronto

If they all need work then yup they will never see service on CP again. They are thinking of selling off some of SD40-2 fleet. Also the first batch of AC4400CW's that are in storage may be placed in long term storage or sold off.

Mock-ups of the Heritage units in preparation for the merger have already started circulating:

I don't buy that for one second. CP is too friggin' cheap to waste paint on patch jobs......

Of course CP is cheap. Their plan to pay for most of the deal is through selling off NS property.

Even worse. Btw NS rejected the CP offer

Well, this step of the process.

The next step is to bypass the board of directors and go to the shareholders directly.
