Doug Ford is going to propose his long lost fantasy monorail to connect the 2 very soon i'm sure.

I hear the SRT is going away very soon, so he can even get some vehicles at a significant discount because he's all about the little guy and their tax dollars right?

Development and Master Construction Agreement or DMCA signed for the Pape tunnel along with underground stations with Pape North Connectors

The Pape North Connect team includes:

  • Applicant Leads: Webuild Civil Work Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC) Canada Ltd.
  • Design Team: Arcadis Professional Services (Canada) Inc., AECOM Canada Ltd.
  • Construction Team: Webuild Civil Work Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC) Canada Ltd.

Right now, it is in the development phase regarding how the tunnels and stations will be designed for the 3 kilometres of twin tunnels between Don Valley bridge to the Gerrard portal which also includes building a connection to Line 2. 

Design and agreements will take around 24 months to finalize before a final cost agreement is signed off.

Development and Master Design Agreement or DMCA signed with Trillium Guideway Partners to build the elevated portion of the Ontario Line along with the stations and other works tied to the elevated portions. 

The Trillium Guideway Partners team includes:

  • Applicant Leads: Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc. and Amico Major Projects Inc.
  • Design Team: WSP Canada Inc.
  • Construction Team: Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc. and Amico Major Projects Inc.
