Many places don't toast their buns.  I feel toasted buns don't get as soggy. Also love a fried egg on the burger too. Burgers are very versatile. ♥

I hate toasted buns, they are too crunchy.

Just came back from the Farmers Market. Out of curiosity I bought some white truffle spread (about the consistency of a Brie cheese). I also bought some Rainer Cherries, which is what I originally went to the market for.

Having a couple buns with White Truffle spread (from Truffula - a local company) topped with onion and tomato, and also a mandarin orange. The spread is made from Organic raw cashews, Spring water, Nutritional yeast, White truffle oil (olive oil, white truffle), Himalayan pink salt, Organic white peppercorns, Bacterial cultures.  It is good, but don't think I will buy this on a regular basis.

A Salmon Caesar Salad (yes there are green things under all those other yummy things). Greens tossed in Three Kettle Asiago Caesar Dressing, topped with shredded three cheese blend (Asiago, Romano, Parmesan) as well as diced Maasdam cheese and crumbled Macedonian Feta Cheese. And to top it off, the 'piece de resistance' smoked salmon from Ben's Meat & Deli. It is absolutely mouthwatering.

It’s the annual seafood bbq with the team manager from one of the semipro teams in the area.  One of the player friends of mine came along at the last minute so we grabbed a box of hamburgers for him.

Trying out a new savory sourdough bread from Cobs Bakery. One slice has cheese & smoked brisket, the other slice has FATSO 'High Performance' Peanut Butter (trying this out for the first time, a friend of mine in Vancouver recommended it - it's made in Victoria B.C.) Also a small cheese chunk (it broke off of the mothership) and a mandarin orange. The black dots in the PB are chia and flax seeds.
