Apparently there's going to be some tweaks made to the service changes that are scheduled to go into effect next month.

The final revisions will be announced sometime next week.

To be clear, this minor tweak that is being mentioned is with regards to the service in the General Hospital Campus, and the concern by customers of the revised-Route 106 that would no longer circle around the Ring Road during the off-peak.

That announcement for next week is to resolve the concerns that are being raised.

As we speak, 4209 is being pushed onto one of the major repair hoists at St Laurent most likely to receive it's new engine. Should be in service by September.

What, do you just stand there and watch whats going on? You may need to invest in some better binoculars for when you're peering through the fence by the garage.

Who told you that?

I was on a 121 when I saw it.

And I am assuming, I went by the garage about 2 weeks ago, I saw the bus in the body shop, all of the engine compartment has been repaired, new electrical was installed. The fastest rollover time from seeing a bus get a new engine to being in service that I have seen is 3 weeks. There may be a few burn marks on the side panels that have to be repaired first, but it look like its almost ready.

Cause the 121 can tell you all that... stop assuming.

I was on the 121, traffic was heavy over the St Laurent brigde, I could see with my own eyes 4209 being pushed onto one of the hoists for major repairs, which used to be at Swansea. They only do power train work, so it is obvious that an engine, and transmission were being installed. I am assuming that it will be in service in September because the rebuild it almost complete.

That doesn't help your case at all,

stop assuming. Speculation gets you a big fat goose egg, come back when you actually have confirmed information. We all know how far assuming gets you.

I got an escort around the garage from one of my contacts thank you very much!

Look, you are getting a little overzealous. Annoying the garage staff is not going to help your application's chances.

And before your expected rebuttal, I have it on very good authority that yes, you are starting to be disliked by the personnel there.

Go out, ride yer bike.... Go out and enjoy the rest of what is likely your last summer vacation......and stay away from st. Laurent for awhile.

STO buses are back to using the Alexandra Bridge / Murray Street instead of detouring on the Macdonald Cartier bridge. First day after over a year of detours was yesterday.

Interestingly, since Monday (still this afternoon as well on the return trips), they started to have signs on the 20, 21, 31, 33, 35, 36, 37 and 38 (in addition to the existing ones on the 11, 17 and 48) that included the number of the route + Ottawa via MacDonald-Cartier. Well at least from the 05's and up. Initially they had either Detour via Macdonald-Cartier or Ottawa via MacDonald-Cartier without the route number. Maybe I thought this detour was now permanent.
