Christmas Overloads

140 posts in this topic

I saw CBLBC #950 today on a Greyhound run.

I too saw a CBL coach loading up yesterday at Pacific Central. Was probably 950. I also saw a Thompson Valley Charters H3-40 loading up too.

Greyhound has brought back their Vancouver to Calgary Daily TCH Express service over the holidays. Leaves Calgary at 705pm and Vancouver at 6pm with limited stops its about a 12 hr trip. Also Greyhound has implemented a TCH Express Calgary Lv 1215pm to Winnipeg and Sudbury/Toronto. Also a Sudbury to Ottawa extra run over holidays. Lv Winnipeg coming west just behind the regular schedule at 1015pm and Arr Calgary 4pm. All are limited Stops..! And Calgary east Express wont run daily...pretty close. I know Greyhound has plenty of overloads planned for certain corridors Especially out of Vancouver!! from Dec 18 til early January..

Charter Bus Lines of BC did a fair bit in BC and I heard that Canada West from Kamloops got lots of work as well.

I think CBL does a lot of Greyhound work at Christmas and Summer....they seem to do more than everyone else it seems.
