It's to bad, I liked the name Can-ar. Someone once told me that Can-ar stood for Canadian Armenian whether that's true or not I have no idea?

It did. Cy Tokmakjian was originally from Armenia.

Spotted Tourland Travel - Calgary Tours no. 532 Prevost H3-45 (ex. Lassen Tours from San Francisco) in Richmond couple days ago:

Interesting to note how it no longer has AB plates and chrome mirrors that it once did back in the photo captured by Kevin Lo last summer.

My friend @themikepeng took this photo back in January. This was Modesto MAX 20715, a 2007 model MCI D4000 built in 2006. I have never seen a 2006/7 D4000 before, but it is legit, as the bus even has the older rear cap. As a result, I made this page: https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Motor_Coach_Industries_D4000_'7_VINs'

modesto 2006-2007 mci build plate (mike peng, jan 2020).jpg

While I was driving through North Dakota on a road trip I came across a school bus operator and dealer in Rugby, ND that had a few motorcoaches parked in it's field alongside old school buses. I got photos of the four I could easily snap from the frontage road, a couple Setras and Van Hools:

I should've gotten my lazy butt out of the car and waddled into the grass a few feet for a shot of that Prevost LeMirage as well 🙄

Also the previous day I noticed this Blue Bird LTC-40 parked at a school as I was driving by:

Why not just scrap them? $900 in scrap value is better than looking at it all day everyday...

Hey y’all. Does anyone on here know what’s happening with the former Calgary greyhound bus depot? And what are the plans with the Bay Street bus depot?

I think he likes the look of them sitting there. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm sure that it's hard to make payments when your fleet is idle for 6 months.

Just adds salt to the wound when no one is buying any buses at all right now.
