I always wanted to see one of these buses in real life. EDIT: That GM Artic Paperbus in your gallery has a tiny error. The rims/wheels are gray on the real things while your papermodel is red. The picture was taken at St Laurent garage in the early 90's after its retirement. As for the GM Artic paperbus, yes I know the rims are grey. I didn't do the paperbuses, but next time I print one out, I'll be sure to change the rim color. The paperbus of 9807 is not real, as 9807 is in the 'KFC' livery and not maple leaf. Only 2 Orion V's in the 97-98 built series have the maple leaf scheme. They are 9849 and 9850. On the other hand, just about all the 91-92 built Orion V's were repainted into the maple leaf scheme. OC 4439 I saw a picture with it having gray rims... From this picture seems like the front rims are gray and the middle is red. Dunno about the rear. Okay rear picture. Only front has gray rims. Rest are red. What I think they should paint the Artics as is just forget putting anything red before the joint and just leave it white. That way it doesn't look like two seprate buses put together. I should have checked my picture I took of it this summer before replying. The rims are red and not grey. For some reason when they just had painted 8222 in Maple Leaf, they have the front rims only in the grey paint. When OC Transpo operated GM artic back in the day, the rims were red as well.
