brianc1981 Posted June 18, 2021 Report Share Posted June 18, 2021 The only thing I remember from the smart card and why it didn't work was the backend software was really glitchy and the company that was responsible got sued by other transit agencies due to issues that caused major financial losses. I believe that is why it was cancelled back then. But I could be wrong, It was has been over 10 years and a lot has happened in that time, so if I am wrong I am sure I will be corrected but do it nicely please.
