Thought I'd share a few shots from a dreary, rainy trip to Bowen Island on the Queen of Capilano ... but that ended with a decent sunset.

Coastal Celebration is the main ship out of Swartz Bay for September 21, and September 22 while Spirit of Vancouver Island undergoes sea trails. The Queen of New Westminster will be the main vessel out of Tsawwassen for September 23 and September 24 while Spirit of Britsh Columbia undergo sea trails.

The Cable ferry that will operate between Buckley Bay to Denman Island is failing to meet speed the requirements, it is current only going 6.5 knots empty and is required to at least go 8.5 knots full of cars, so this project could fail before it starts service or will require a upgrade to machine that pulls the cable to move the vessel.

Island Sky will be sailing on the Little River to Powell River route while the Queen of Burnaby goes in for maintenance and replace the Queen of Nanaimo which while last from October 14, to November 20. The Bowen Queen will be sailing between Earls Cove to Saltery Bay from October 14, to November 20.

The Bowen Queen will fill in for Skeena Queen on the Swartz Bay-Fulford Harbour will the Skeena Queen fillings in on Swartz Bay – Southern Gulf Islands only during peak periods:

The ​Queen of Coquitlam is temporary replacing the Queen of Oak Bay on the Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay from November 20th , 2015 to Feb 13th, 2016.
