Blue Bus Fan
The Queen of Capilano is returning to service with extra 15 cars per sailing tommorrow on the 2:30 pm sailing replacing the Bowen Queen and the D30LF will not be seen in Downtown Vancouver starting Thursday is done for good so Bowen resident now need take to the 250 or 257. Hopefully TransLink will the put those trips on the 257 just for Bowen Island residents but other people can take the trips too. http://www.bcferries.com/onboard-experiences/fleet/profile-queen_of_capilano.html
Park Royal
Actually the D30LF service will continue. The BCF service notice is misleading. The only change is the bus will not travel on the ferry, except Friday afternoons and Monday mornings.

Blue Bus Fan
You guys can name a ferry with a lot of weird rules: (No Queen, Spirit, Island, ect) all prefix currently in the fleet. http://www.bcferries.com/about/intermediatevessel-naming-contest.html?utm_campaign=ICFnamingcontest&utm_medium=web&utm_source=bcfhome I have say BC Ferries has receive a lot of interesting names about prices and waits: http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2015/05/best-submissions-bc-ferries-naming-contest/ I personally think BC Ferries should pick Spirit of Bad Wifi because it is true in most places and a funny name for a ferry. The cable a ferry has name of called Baynes Sound Connector which replaces this ferry. Quinitsa by Blue Bus Fan, on Flickr When this ferries starts service in will be the world longest and only cable ferry in the salt water. This ferry will also be longest cable ferry which beats the longest cable ferry on fresh water also.
Blue Bus Fan
BC Ferries has finally realized some ideas are stupid and do not got to plan. Slot machines will NOT be on board of Spirit class: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-ferries-slot-machines-plan-scrapped-by-government-1.3104915 Hopefully this gave the a little more pressure on the BC Government to turn BC Ferries back into crown corporation since nothing BC Ferries has done help them become more profitable but instead they become less profitable. Blue Bus Fan
The BC Government is forcing BC Ferries to replace Nimpkish by 2018: http://www.wltribune.com/news/310953311.html So, BC Government how does this make BC Ferries independent from the government? Oh, wait it doesn't because you are forcing them to build the vessel.
