JCL Posted September 12, 2009 Report Share Posted September 12, 2009 That really is a cumbersome task.It could be done far easier if they had a decent ticketing system and could be done automatically using the drivers modual, then it can be done virtually overnight. Just proves what an antiquated transport system that we have and how the idots in charge of it really aren't keeping up with technological innovations. I agree with you, it is a tedious task to undertake. In my opinion, it would be nice to have electronic signs updated wirelessly as they go through Countdown every night. (St.L Complex only) Right now, I believe their is something wrong with 5009's battery because their were lots of people working on it and the hump nearest to the rear was exposed. IMO, this is why you don't run them on the Transitway routes.I saw a hybrid on route 101 today while driving out to Orleans, couldn't catch the # because I was driving the other direction at 100 kph, while it was going the other way at 100 kph too, and I didn't feel like risking getting into an accident.
