Lastly: Get your information from reliable sources and not Youtubers. 1406, 1407, 1409, 1411. Delivered to Eastchester Depot. 9557, 9558. Delivered to Grand Avenue Depot. 9422 delivered to MJQ depot. Usually its better check in with the TTMG page and occasionally the NYC Forums unless there's an official announcement via a source or a "sight or seen" type picture confirming the news. Mainly its just better for a source or conformation as things always change.

Ok that's where I'm going to have to check you... the sources I have are normally accurate on all things transit for the 15 years I've been officially following this hobby. If you remember NYCT forums user "East New York", ... yeah he's from that crowd of people with inside information. I don't post bogus nonsense. I may every now and then get a bus move wrong if I'm posting late after work, but usually I either get on the work field data myself ( i.e. personally witnessing bus moves/ retirements while out and about) or have other people on the ground do so. Again, I post only facts and occasionally logical speculation that more often than not come to pass instead of some fanfiction garbage. I rest my case. New Yorker 2001
Additionally, here are some more 2005-06 D4500CL retirements from the forums: #3180, #3182, #3201, #3206, #3216, #3222, #3224, #3233-34, and #3238. 2015-16 Novabus LFS #8236 is at Zerega getting flood damage work. Still pending. Lastly 2006 Orion 7.501 OG hybrid #6765 is now retired from Mother Clara Hale.
New Yorker 2001
According to the forums, 2006 Orion 7.501 OG Hybrids #6700 and #6747 are now retired from MJQ depot. #6737 is the last OG in service from there along with MCH's #6776 and #6786. 3 more OGs remain on the entire island. Hard to believe that just less than 3 years ago, they were the most common 40 footers in Manhattan along with the NG hybrids. Been that way for years, but alas, we are approaching the end of an era. Man... Wished I got a better pic of 6747 then when I saw that back in November. But I do have a bunch of the 6700s on my phone when I went in December 2020. Probably gonna upload a few of them on here. How about the ones operated by MTA Bus Company? How many more still in service?

However, I would not wait pass April to start hunting for those as the MTA will likely want these buses gone by the end of the summer (September or so). Plan to catch a few more myself later this year as I rode #3779 last spring. Quote

I heard 8016 was totaled from the flood but not sure as it wasn’t listed as retired. Idk if any of the 7000s from Castleton are back as well (seems I forgot). I haven’t been on the NYC forums in a while I might check there.

You mean #8716? #8016 is a 2011 LFS and only Queens has those units these days.

It's strange that none of those guys mentioned any flood damaged buses on other borough's until now. I was only aware of SI's damaged buses until now, but #8016 and the rest of that set are well on their way out anyway as they are close to retirement (in another 2-3 years). In other news, 2017 New Flyer XD60 #6071 will be OOS for a bit as it was involved in a shooting. Also, R62A car #1845 will be out for a while too as some idiot had seat a couple of it's seats on fire while it was working the #1 train the other day... Plus there were like three arsons on the 1 as of late not sure if all were related. Hopefully this doesn't become another R142 6347 incident. NYC2MTL
Updates: 6071 is back in service after shootout yesterday. I can confirm that 9429 is now delivered to Michael J Quill depot. I can also confirm 4437, 4439 are delivered to LaGuardia Depot. 4438 is already there. All buses coming from Grand Avenue Depot.

That type of work doesn't take long to fix. 2006 Orion 7.501 OG hybrids #3575 and #3610 both retired from MTA bus company. However 2008 Orion 7.501 NG hybrid #3913 is NOT retired. Bad call from someone over at the forums. Also, if not already mentioned, 2009 Orion 7.501 NG hybrids #4002 and #4343 to LGA depot (MTA bus) from NYCTA (MV). However, if this all happened on the 1 line, then it's not THAT big of a loss as remember that the R62s and R62As will be due for retirement come 2025, so they have enough spares to allow a couple of older cars to be cannibalized into parts donors. Not the loss of railcars.

New Yorker 2001
2022 New Flyer XDE40 hybrids #9418 and #9431 are delivered and assigned to MJQ depot. 2021-22 Prevost X3-45 #1412, delivered and assigned to Eastchester Depot. Also 2021-22 Nova LFS hybrids #9693, #9800, #9834 and #9846 are all delivered and assigned to MHV depot. 2021 New Flyer XDE40 hybrids #9549, and #9554-55 delivered to Grand Avenue Depot. As a side note, it's so weird seeing these old former Novabus RTS 06 numbers being reused less then 5 years after retirement, though the 2017-2020 Xcelsiors and LFS/LFSAs were worse as they reused former Orion 5, 7, and New Flyer C40LF/D60HF numbers right as most of those were retiring. MTA do reuse a lot of numbers as after all, they used all possible number sequence unless they wanna go into the 10000s or follow a similar pattern as NJT's numbering system

That failure happened in the early 90s, it's almost 30 years later, things clearly gotten more advanced.
