Updates:
7058. SCRAP. Castelton.
3069, 3072. Yonkers to Charleston (NYCT).
9610. Delivered to Michael J Quill Depot.
4000, 4007, 4011, 4013, 4016. Manhattanville depot to Queens Village depot.
4263, 4265. Manhattanville depot to Queens Village depot.
4360 Manhattanville depot to Queens Village Depot.

7058 will be the first confirmed scrap of a Orion VII Gen III from Ida... still a few more awaiting their fate.

Charleston picking up a pair of around 15 year old d4500CLs. Believe those are 2005 model years while Charleston's fleet currently was all 2007 models. Wonder if this has any bearing with the MTA looking to absorb the SIM 23 and SIM 24?

#7058 is not the first retired 3G O7. That was bus #7047. Anyway,  I believe those 2004-2005 3000 series buses were met to replace the 2 2008 D4500CTs (#2220 and #2225) that got totalled from the flood waters.

No there not sir... Those buses did not get transferred to Castelton and plus there won't be any replacements for castelton at this time.....

3069, 3072 are at Charleston..

7058, 7071- EDIT: Those 2 are being worked on at Castelton.

8702, 8703, 8714 are being worked on at Yukon maintenance and looking more likely to be saved.

1492, 1495, 1496 are now officially assigned to Spring Creek Depot.. Buses were brought into the depot on Friday.

9688, 9748, 9755, 9803, 9810 are delivered to Manhattanville depot.

3844, 3867, 3944- to Mother Clara Hale Depot from Manhattanville Depot.

9616 delivered to Michael J Quill Depot.

7852-7854 are at the service center awaiting to be delivered to Fresh Pond Depot

8756-8758 are at Secaucus awaiting delivery to Jamaica Depot.

Thanks for the clarification.

Also reading that one of the damaged Castleton Prevost buses is likely to be saved pending a new transmission? Nice to see castleton is back to working on buses again.

As for 7047 I actually found some footage of it from where it was destroyed in the IDA flooding. Occurred while operating on Decker Ave.

HEV's out of service..  Manhattanville, Kingsbridge, Tuskegee.

As of this morning ALL 2021 Novabus LFS hybrids are OOS due to malfunction back doors and other glitches. As of now many 2009 and 2010 Orion 7.501 NG hybrids from across the city are returning back to MHV depot and some Novabus LFS Diesels from SI are being moved to the Manhattan division as well. Until farther notice, some LFS HEVs are being parked at 126 street depot and other garages while they sort this mess out. Haven't had a new bus fleet this troubled since the days of the Grumman 870. Not looking good for Novabus.

Not good for SI in particular since they were already sort on buses to begin with thanks to the flood damage on some vehicles from Ida back in September.

Honestly, they should really take back out some retired Orion 7.501 OG hybrids from Eastchester. There's hundreds of them up there. Some of which are from 2005!

TA is not putting back 2005 buses back on the street. Let’s get that notion out there.  Yes, there’s going to be a big shortage for quite a while. I don’t want to put any negativity on this but NOVABUS really fucked over MTA on this order by not building a good product for them. Why aren’t the Canada buses breaking down like the New York ones. Something has to give.  The possible artic order with NOVABUS may be in jeopardy since NOVA is not building quality buses.

I'm saying that they should be pressed back into service. What good is it to have a storage lot for older buses if you are not going to use them. There are also many retired 2006 and 2007 Orion 7.501 OG hybrids up there along with a few retired 2008-10 NG hybrids too. Any bus that is still in operable condition should be used to crush any shortages. Someone else even mentioned on the forums that they can even take back the retiring 1700 NG CNGs from NICE (since they are replacing them with Gilligs anyway) and use those across the city as we now have 2 different bus system emergencies going on. The LFS hybrid mess as well as the SI division shortages from Hurricane Ida.

Here’s the problem with the NICE situation. Although, they inherited the buses from the MTA and the MTA technically still owns them I don’t think that MTA will want to use those into passenger service.  The good folks at The Department of Buses are very smart and they will figure out every way to get out of this messy situation.

2021 Prevost X3-45 #1499 is now delivered and assigned to Spring Creek depot. Fun fact, these are Brooklyn's first New OTR Coach buses in 10 years!

Technically now Spring Creek is apart of the Queens Division.. However, you are correct.. First OTR in 10 years for new delivery.

This is weird as Spring Creek depot is actually located in Brooklyn and was up until a few years ago considered the Brooklyn Division.

At this time, only 10 2006 Orion 7.501 OG hybrids remaining in Manhattan and indeed about 50 OGs remain in NYCT as a whole (not counting the units at MTA bus).

Another bus accident involving MTA bus 482 on the B43. Reports shown that a van ran a stop sign and collided with the bus sending the bus crashing in front of a Bank of America storefront. Four people injured.

What an idiot! Hope they charge his ass with reckless driving! 2012 New Flyer C40LF CNG #482 out of Jackie Gleason depot is going to be OOS for a while, although the damage don't appear to be that bad....

Funfact: I used to live along the B43 bus line when I lived in Brooklyn back in 2005 and prior.

2007 Orion 7.501 OG hybrids #6865-66, #6895, and #6905 all retired out of Queens Village depot bound for ECH scrap. #6895 and #6905 are notable in particular because the former was the last blackbacked O7 and the later was the last NYCTA OG delivered in Summer 2007. RIP to both of them! ?

Why bring back the 2008 MCI D4500CTs if those were being retired anyway?
