I thought they had 60 footers in chicago?

The artics they have are all New Flyers. DE60LFs, DE60LFRs, and D60LFRs. I'm surprised they don't have any Xcelsiors in their fleet other than the 2 XE40 test buses (and one caught fire last I heard lol).

According to NYCTFs, 2007 MCI D4500CLs #4306 and #4318 are now both retired.

How many NYCT CLs are even left?

Charleston has about 18 of those left..

2695, 2696, 2698, 2699 are all at Charleston from Meredith Avenue. I'm expecting 2697 and the 2700's that Meredith has in possession to transfer to Charleston in a matter of days.

I guess the MTA want to kill as many caterpillar powered MCIs as possible since they no longer make transit bus engines. That's just my guess.

With all of these moves is Charleston one of the last depot where the entire fleet is still all white with the blue stripe? They don't have any Cuomo I ❤️ NY buses there.

Actually there are a few depots left with no "new scheme" buses:

Yonkers in bronx (will see new Prevosts)

Casey Stengel, LGA (will see new Prevost), and Spring Creek (will see new Prevost) in Queens

Charleston in Staten Island

Negative with Casey Stengel depot. They have the 2016-2017 XD60s in the upper 5900s and 6000s/6100s.

SCRAP REPORT TODAY 8/2/21

At this rate, the Orion VII OGs will be gone from Manhattan by September 1st at the latest, if not sooner.

The NYCTA ones in Queens are probably right behind these.

As for the Queens ones. The NG's will more than likely occupy Queens for a while. Some of the Kingsbridge ones are there currently as more will follow along with Manhattanville ones.

Yes, I'm sure when all is said and done, Manhattan will be Orion 7 free while most remaining Orion VIIs will be mostly in Queens/Brooklyn, SI (the 3G diesels), The Bronx (MTA bus units) and Nassau county (2011 NG CNGs and 3G CNGs).

SCRAP REPORT: EAST NEW YORK: 3968, 3974, 4538, 4556.  (There is a possibility that 3975 may join the caravan of scraps) Bus stalled in Downtown Brooklyn on Friday night.

#3975 is done too?

I know those #3900s must be beat now, especially #3960-3999, another group of beat up NGs overall.

How many more does The Bronx division need?

In this order Kingsbridge is only allotted 25 buses.. 9640-9664

Currently, Kingsbridge has the following: 9644, 9648, 9650, 9652-9664

Gun Hill gets the option order and the rest for Manhattanville.
