If Kingsbridge and possibly Gun Hill rebuke their units, maybe they could get new XDE40s or the 2021-22 LFS clean diesel buses from other parts of the system. What do you guys think? Anything is possible, but the fact that new units are still being delivered to KB would seem to indicate that the powers that be at MTA Regional Bus still want those units at that depot. I remember back in 2005 when the second batch of Orion VII OG hybrids were being delivered (#6490 and up) East NY depot was at one point slated to get some, but they rejected them (only to get the 4th batch in 2007, #6790-6847). Can't that happen here? There's always politics at regional bus. Managers do have a say. However, at the end of the day it's up to top brass where the buses go. Bus has only been here for about a week since the move from Jersey. 9658 just came in over the weekend. Saw service today. So it appears whatever issues some of these HEVs having are being addressed. 9740, 9745, 9752 and a few others are at Secaucus.
