Bob Barker, the former longtime host of “The Price Is Right”, has died at the age of 99.

Had to double check to ensure it is correct. Especially since he was a few months away from turning 100 years old. At the same time, he has been dealing with health issues along with mobility challenges.

Bob Barker still holds the longest running daytime game show host record of 35 years with The Price Is Right from 1972 to 2007 along with a few Emmys. Being in television since 1956 with Truth or Consequences.

Though, I do admit that this is the show you would see if you were sick or had the day off watching at around 11 AM EST on a weekday.

That's very sad and I remembered him guest starring as character Bob Barnacle, a snail business owner on "Sanctuary!",  in SpongeBob SquarePants episode in 2010s when I was in school in early or mid teens then (uncle of 3).

As a young Christian man living in the Caribbean, I watched the show The Price is Right on CBS at 11AM ET most oftenly (day off) when I was small in 2000s (my time when Bob Barker was hosting the game show showing new TV,  Home Appliances, groceries, cars etc. for contestants then long before Drew Carey take over in 2007).

Here's the example link to this episode with Bob Barker aired the day when I was born on March 7, 2000.

As of 2023, The Price of Right is still airing on CBS Weekday Mornings at 11AM ET for almost 51 years and Drew Carey is still hosting the game show at this present day.

Let’s also not forget about his appearance in the 1996 comedy film “Happy Gilmore” starring Adam Sandler.

He’s probably dead, true. Putin wouldn’t have it any other way . However an official presser from the Russian government doesn’t magically fix their profound credibility problem.

”we can prove it.”

-“How?”

”DNA.”

-“Can we see it?”

”No.”

The Price Is Right: A Tribute To Bob Barker will be airing at 8 PM EST Thursday which is August 31st.

It is a last minute change, so the listing should be updated by tomorrow.

I wonder if there going to have past models like Dian Parkinson, Holly Hostrum, and many others pay tribute to Bob Baker.
