YRT-Guy
http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_25294.aspx StreetBeat - Jul. 31 - Bus Fire On Gardiner ExpresswayThursday July 31, 2008 CityNews.ca Staff One lane of the westbound Gardiner Expressway was closed during the Thursday morning rush hour after a bus fire. The vehicle's engine compartment apparently caught fire just before 8am, prompting the evacuation of 55 passengers who waited on the side of the highway at Spadina for a second bus to pick them up. Fire crews made quick work of the blaze and no injuries were reported. Can anyone tell whose bus it is??

Orion V
Wow. I'd say! That news artical was disturbing. That's basically what the people at my department were talking about all day! We were also guessing what is going to happen to #1170 after the police are done with it. And eerie as it seems; 1170 is a D4500 which is what GO has predominantly! And eerie as it seems; 1170 is a D4500 which is what GO has predominantly! That is what we have been talking about at work all day too. There are a few transit users who work with me, but we're not too scared, because we use an urbanized transit system, not one that's long-distance, but the thought of it haunts us.
